To become a Travel Agent, there are no state or federal licensing requirements, no tests, and no schooling.  You must only be employed by a licensed and bonded Travel Agency, which CITS Travel is.  We are also members of ARC, IATAN, CLIA and ASTA, all of which are industry organizations reflecting the professionalism, quality and dedication of the Travel Agency community.

CITS Travel will make you an Independent Contractor by placing you with our well established Travel Agency which specializes in working with Independent Contractors.  On registration, you will receive a kit explaining simple procedures to help you become comfortable in making travel arrangements and earning you an extra income.

Everyone buys travel.  Far too many travel buyers are not satisfied with the value, service, or limited selection provided by traditional travel agencies.  Think about it, just about everyone you know travels!

If you are like most people, you are in touch with somewhere between 100 and 300 people.  Think about your friends, family, clubs or religious groups.  Do you have coworkers, clients, or employees at your company?  Do you belong to an association?  Do you have access to lists, newsletters, the Internet, or and audience of any kind?

Because we are a legitimate Travel agency and work within the guidelines of IATAN, you must fulfill some basic requirements before we can recommend you for an IATAN card.  You must earn over $4,500.00 in gross profit, be registered for at least six months, and spend around 20 hours per week at this profession.

Once you fulfill the requirements of IATAN after 12 month, you will receive a travel agent identity card.  This card is recognized throughout the industry and will entitle you to travel savings of up to 75% on airline tickets, extra income and huge discounts on FAM TRIPS especially designed for travel agents and limited to those agents with approved identification cards.
